After finishing her Masters in Visual Communication, Sophie Rivière honed her design skills whilst working for different companies in Bordeaux and Paris. These enriching experiences allowed her to get to grips with the many facets of her role as an illustrator, deepening her knowledge of traditional techniques such as embossing, gilding and engraving, whilst also exploring digital work.

Sophie has been working freelance for many years now. Her love for naturalistic illustrations has allowed her to work on many a project, and this talented designer is always keen to stick to the traditional roots of her profession. Whether she is using ink, watercolours or coloured pencils, she always starts her creations on paper, before later finalising them on her computer.

Her attraction to everything botanical has led her to collaborate with multiple natural history museums, herbalists, florists and many other brands for whom all things natural are at the heart of their business.

She is also the co-founder of the graphic design studio bureau-mine.fr.

A lover of paper, who enjoys creating beautiful stationery, Sophie is a great match for Rosemood.
