When should I send my wedding invitations?

It is never too early to send your wedding invitations, but we would recommend sending them out up to four months before your big day. This will make sure that your guests have all the information that they need well in advance. You may wish to send your invites out earlier if you are hosting a destination wedding so that your guests have the time to organise their transport and accommodation.

How many wedding invites should I order?

You will need to order one wedding invitation per household. Remember that you do not need to send an invitation to every single guest, but one to everyone who lives at the same address. On average, you will be looking to order around half the number of wedding invites vs guests, as the majority of guests will be part of a couple or a family. It is, therefore, useful to leave a space on your wedding invites to be able to add the specific names of your guests so that everyone knows who is invited from their family (i.e. if the children are also invited).
